Hello all, here's an introduction.

Yeah, I finally decided to start a blog. Something that I've been meaning to start up for a while now, but just never got around to.

Oh k, so the basics.

Hi, I'm Jacob. I'm the owner/founder of MonkeyHead Studios. A independent, mostly non profit movie studio. Thus far, we've mainly concentrated on writing. We also do some effects.

As far as effects go, the specialty at the moment is mostly cgi environments. These environments consist of anything from jungle, to alien landscape, to rolling hills, to small towns, and massive city scapes. These cgi environments are as photo-realistic as possible. (I'll put up a few pictures that were done out of boredom some time later on.)


At the moment I am working on writing "pilot" episodes for a couple of series'. One of which I'm trying to keep wrapped up, and not tell much to anyone but those working on it with me. At least until production is actually under way. The other, I'll post about tomorrow... Or perhaps later on tonight.


This blog is gonna be temporary spot for updating anyone enterested, in what all is going on here at the studio. At least until the official sight is up, and then all the blogs will be posted on there as well...


I'm pretty much always willing to help people out, so if you need some writing help, let me know. But the effects stuff is out for now, because my computer that I used for that is down at the moment.
